In line with Government guidance the school will now be opening for children in EYFS, Year 1 and Year 6. Information as to how to request places has been sent out to parents in these year groups and the school timings will be staggered.

Children of key workers and vulnerable pupils in years 2 – 5 are able to come into school from 8.45 am to 3.05/3.15.  Please ensure that you book a place a week in advance.

Work for all pupils is under the ‘first’ castle in each year group.

Welcome back to term 6

Welcome to St. Mark’s C.E.P. School

On behalf of all children, staff and governors I would like to welcome you to the school.  We are a voluntary controlled, Church of England Primary School maintaining a strong partnership with the Parish Church of St Mark’s and the school is administered by the school governors in liaison with the Diocese of Rochester and Kent County Council.

As head teacher, my job is to ensure that we provide a good quality education for all of our children and to oversee the smooth running of the school on behalf of our Governing Body.  Our school’s very strong Christian ethos is fundamental to the life of the school and it permeates everything we do.  The staff of the school work extremely hard to provide a creative curriculum which challenges and stimulates the children.  There is also an extensive range of school clubs and inter-school competitions and there is a breakfast club for those who need it.  The atmosphere is one of hard work, fun and enjoyment, with children and staff all happy to be at school.

We are all extremely proud of our school and we are always keen to meet any visitors who would like to come and know us better.  If you are interested in looking around our school, please contact me to arrange a time to do so.
