Dear parents, carers and kids,
What a year!!! We couldn’t have done it without you and we wanted to say a huge THANK YOU for supporting our fundraising this year; whether that be from helping or attending events, spending your pennies at treat sales, donations or joining in with the fun! This year we raised a whopping £15,958!!!!
Thanks to you all we have been able to support the School in providing more enrichment activities for your children, resourcing and equipment and subsiding events. Check out the attached flyer to see what we have helped with this year.
Many thanks again to those who helped clear out our container which is now “September-school-start -ready”. We have more things coming up in the new academic year. We always welcome your support so don’t be a stranger!
Welcome to St Mark's PTA!
We are a registered charity that serves to advance the education 
of the pupils of St Mark's.
If and when you are ready to find out what goes on “behind the scenes” of the fairs, treat stalls, events, and meetings, you will receive a warm welcome from those who are currently involved.
Whether you have 15 minutes at the end of the school day to sell ice pops in the playground, an evening or two to brainstorm ideas, a few hours to volunteer at an event, or any and all things in between – you will be welcomed with open arms! You don’t have to do anything official to be a member of the PTA; just being a parent or carer of a child at the school, or a member of staff, is enough!
How you can help the PTA
Wherever you are in your school journey, there is a role for you in the PTA if you want one – big or small, regular or sporadic. Here are a few good ways to start:
Join the PTA Community WhatsApp - add yourself to whichever chats take your fancy! They are all event-based, so you can join the ones you can help with. It won’t be long before someone is posting information about our next event or meeting. Make sure to say hello!
Follow us on Facebook, and be sure to like and share the posts – every little bit of engagement helps spread the word and get support from our local community. We also have a closed Facebook group for parents – please search for it on Facebook and join, or contact us for the link.
Email us and let us know if your workplace can support us with match funding, raffle prizes, or event sponsorship.
